medication for diabetes was found to be the root of many health
complications.
Common health complications of Invokana:

- Diabetic ketoacidosis that resulted in severe health complications and even death
- Urinary tract infections from blood or kidney infections leading to hospitalization
- Sudden deterioration in the renal condition with no history of underlying kidney problem
- Cardiovascular injury including stroke or heart attack
More than 1,003 cases are pending for some sort of action in the Invokana multidistrict litigation (MDL) as of April 16, 2018. Invokana lawsuit update that Johnson & Johnson and Janssen failed to warn the patients and the physicians about the risks associated with the drug.
Lawsuits
claim Johnson & Johnson’s branding and marketing misrepresented the
drug’s safety. It is an unreasonably dangerous drug and did not go
through any proper clinical trial before being released in the market.
